The caRol™ R TS 250 winch is certified according to EN 1496 and can be used as rope - suspended work devices if it is coupled with a fall arrest system complying with standard EN 363 (NB for this configuration the user must comply with the legal requirements applicable in the area of use). DESCRIPTION The caRol™ R TS, TS and MO winch es are material lifting winches that have been tested for installation on the mast of the Tractel® davitrac. They are delivered with a mounting bracket specifically designed for this purpose. caRol™ R TS and TS winches are manual drum winches. R TS 250 CMU of 250kg d elivered with Ø5mm cable of 20m and a rotating hook R TS 250 CMU of 250kg delivered with Ø5mm cable of 30m and a rotating hook TS 500 CMU of 500kg delivered with Ø7mm cable of 18m and a rotating hook The caRol™ MO 500 winches are electric drum winches. • MO500 CMU of 500kg delivered with Ø6mm cable of 13m, with rotating hook, limit switch, 2m cabled remote control • Brake motor 230v 50Hz • Class F IP54 To use them correctly on the davitrac, the cable must be placed on a pulley attached to the head of the mar of the davitrac . NB: the choice of the pulley must be made according to the use of the winch. • F => PPE pulley 150kg • G => Pulley for material lifting up to 500 kg TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS The caRol™ R TS, TS and MO winches are delivered with a mounti ng bracket which is fixed to the mast of the davitrac manufactured by Tractel®. They are delivered with cable and connector. • Double braking safety by the self - braking worm gear system and the addition of a ratchet brake with double spring • Rigid frame with painted mechanical parts and drums • Easily accessible lever - operated clutch drum with safety device to prevent disengagement under load • Protection of users and mechanical parts by an ergonomic protective cover that can be removed for maintenance. • The caRo l™ R TS and TS are equipped with a variable length control crank handle (6 adjustment positions) allowing the user either maximum control force or quick manoeuvring for small loads or rewinding operations
