2. 024R19 Med suit is composed of heat resistant Jacket and trousers or approaching the fire, destined to maritime Fire Fighters. This suit has been designed and obtained to protect the operator against brief contact with the flame, convective heat and radiant heat. This PPE is a close proximity suit, it is not suitable for the protection against flame engulfment and shall therefore not be used as primary protection under flame exposure. The suit has been tested to be compliant with UNI EN ISO 13688: 2013 and ISO 15538: 2001 level 2. DNV 0575 Composition: The suit is made with a 4-layer compound: exterior in 100% aluminised para aramid fiber - SOFT version; two layers of carbon lining and an inner layer in FR cotton. 100% twaron thread seams. The JACKET has a front opening and a velcro closure FR. The neck is 8/10 cm high. Smooth back without stitching on center back (no clothing yoke). JACKET WEIGHT: 2.985 KG TROUSERS to be fitted; they have adjustable straps in polypropylene with quick connection and height adjustment. Overlap between the jacket and trousers is approx. 50 cm. After use, the product must be completely dried and turned over in order to preserve its functionality. Inappropriate procedures could change the characteristics of the garment and change the protective level offered. A dirty garment may not guarantee the necessary level of protection. Keep the garment dry and clean in a place with appropriate temperature and environmental humidity, making sure that it is not exposed to heat or cold, and avoiding exposure to direct sunlight if storage is to last for medium to long periods.
